Day 29 of 47 days… 47 quotes from the new book The Potential of God’s Presence…

From Chapter Six – Facilitating God’s Presence

After having read most of this book by now, you may be surprised by the fact that I actually enjoy many of the traditions of denominational churches. For years I’ve been attending the Christmas Eve service at a Lutheran church that my wife’s family used to attend. They pull out the fifty-member choir, the forty-piece orchestra and, of course, the massive pipe organ. It’s hard to stay seated in your pew as this team of singers and musicians belt out the first chords of “Joy to the World.” My point here is that doing this once a year is a joy, but to do it every week would become monotonous to me. God is a diverse Person releasing diverse revelation and desires diverse expression of praise from a diverse body that He created.

I’ve just released a new pre-order campaign on a fund-raising site called Kickstarter with the goal of 100 backers before December 17. From November 1 onward I will be sharing one quote a day from the book to bring potential “pre-orderers” some more context to what this book is all about… Know that these quotes are not necessarily made to stand alone, but they represent the greater part of what the book is all about… I hope that these quotes will inspire and persuade you to take the plunge on getting your copy of The Potential of God’s Presence… Thanks
