47 days… 47 quotes from the new book The Potential of God’s Presence… Day 1

Well, after almost 3 years, this book is ready to go… We are in the process of formatting and getting it ready to go to print… So guess what that means… Back To The Blog, at least more than before…

I’ve just released a new pre-order campaign on a fund-raising site called Kickstarter with the goal of 100 backers before December 17.

So, from today, November 1 onward I will be sharing one quote a day from the book to bring potential “pre-orderers” some more context to what this book is all about… Know that these quotes are not necessarily made to stand alone, but they represent the greater part of what the book is all about… I hope that these quotes will inspire and persuade you to take the plunge on getting your copy of The Potential of God’s Presence… Thanks

From Chapter One – When You Seek Him You Will Find Him

On more than one occasion I’ve pondered such thoughts as, “Why do people seem to experience ‘more’ of God at conferences, events and ‘revivals’ anyway? Is there really such a thing as a regular time in the presence of God? Does God simply desire to manifest His presence more at conferences and special events than He does on Sunday mornings?” If you look into the Word at what Jesus said about Himself, you realize that this mentality is totally contrary to His nature. Jesus said in Matthew 18:20, “For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.” Jesus did not say, “When two gather in my name I’ll show up in 50% of my glory, for a Sunday crowd 75%, and for the big conference I’ll let it all hang out!” No, we must realize that every time we gather, 100% of the fullness of the potential of His glorious presence and dunamis power is available and in our midst. EVERY SINGLE TIME!
